A workable Turkish gas transit regime is essential for the Fourth Corridor pipelines designed to bring Caspian and Middle Eastern gas to Europe. Increasing Turkish demand could limit the gas available for reexport to Europe and the Turkish pipeline network requires significant investment in order to support multiple export pipelines.
