Monthly Gas Briefing: Two Pieces of a Recovery? May 26, 2010
Optimism about the economy’s ability to bolster demand for natural gas is building, but US lower-48 gas production has not registered a meaningful decline. Elements of an eventual price recovery are significant, but they fall short of what will be required to rebalance the North American market.

Monthly Gas Briefing: 2009 Revisited April 26, 2010
The determination of producers to establish positions within the lower cost “cores” of emerging gas plays is being encouraged by joint ventures, hedging, and lease issues. In aggregate these factors are prolonging a period of oversupply in the gas market.

Russia's Second Baltic Pipeline and Terminal: More than Just an Oil Export Project April 7, 2010

Monthly Gas Briefing: A Creeping Capitulation? March 25, 2010
A futures correction, which now appears to be under way, must also lead to a capitulation in the rig count if production declines are to be achieved. With the US lower-48 rig count increasing strongly, it appears that producers as a group are actually moving the other way.
